Frequently Asked Questions

Who’s the ideal dKin Bride?

A dKin bride is kind, laidback, and true to themselves. Someone who is secure in their values, needs and wants that their wedding day reflects who they are through and through. And if you love being outside— that’s a bonus!

How are you different than other photographers?

I focus on creating a comfortable, inclusive experience. Each image is hand-edited with care, ensuring it reflects your unique story without the use of filters. My goal is to capture real moments with authenticity and originality.

How many weddings do you shoot per year?

I typically shoot about 10 to 12 weddings per year. This allows me to dedicate the time and energy needed to fully invest in each couple’s special day, ensuring every moment gets the attention it deserves. I want to give my all to each wedding because I know how important this investment is for my clients.

How long have you been a photographer?

26 years (BTW, 26 is my favorite number)!

How do we get our images?

All images are delivered digitally through a private online gallery. You’ll receive an email with a link to view, download, and share your high-resolution photos at your convenience.

How long is the turnaround time?

This depends on the season. During peak wedding season, a portrait session generally takes two weeks. Weddings take 4 to 6 weeks to cull and edit.

How many images do we get?

Image quantities vary depending on which package you choose, but I promise to capture your session fully and give you plenty of lasting memories!

How would you describe your photographic style?

The words I hear most often to describe my work are natural, happy, and vibrant! I like creating art that represents you and this moment in your life.

Do you photograph newborn and maternity sessions?

Yes, I photograph maternity, newborn, cake smashes, families, couples, engagement, weddings and elopements.
